One large two-room cabin, with option to book one room or the entire cabin.

Each room has a private bath with shower and hot water. Kitchen Palapa
Restaurant and bar palapa for meals and meeting.

WiFi satellite internet access throughout the lodging area, no extra charge.

The lodge is “off the grid,” so electricity is provided by generator. Batteries are charged for minor electrical needs.Kitchen Palapa at night

This means the rooms do not have air conditioners. But don’t worry, temperatures are almost always pleasant in the Mountain Pine Ridge, and we usually have a nice breeze blowing so you’ll be cool and comfortable as you relax in your hammock on your private porch. Bedroom with 2 queen beds

Leave appliances which use a lot of electricity at home. You don’t need your hair dryer in the jungle anyway! Our power production is sufficient to operate and charge devices such as laptops, cameras, iPods, etc., with some planning. Just let us know what needs to be charged and we'll make sure it's charged for you.

WiFi internet access is dependent on the satellite, which runs off electricity. If the generator is on, the satellite is on, and we can run it off a battery if you request it. But, it is not always on.

Rooms are lit with kerosene lamps and candles, and we will provide you with an 18v flashlight while you are here.

Because this property used to be a wild feline rehabilitation center, we have a number of large cages on the
property. If you are travelling with a pet and would like to leave the pet with us for the day, you may kennel your pet in one of these cages for a small additional fee.

Dogs in secure cageYou may also leave the pet with us for a longer time period if you take any overnight tours where the pet is not welcome. Contact us for details and rates.
